ABA: International Legal Developments Year in Review: 2024

We are pleased to share that Kosta Legal, led by partner Maxim Dogonkin, contributed to the Uzbekistan chapter of 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰.

The Year in Review is the annual publication of the 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻’𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗔𝗕𝗔/𝗜𝗟𝗦), produced in cooperation with SMU Dedman School of Law, and has a worldwide circulation among legal practitioners, academics, and policymakers.

Our section (pp. 255–267) highlights major legal developments in Uzbekistan in 2024, including:
- Privatization of state property and enterprises
- Accreditation for representative offices of foreign entities
- Capital markets regulation and international access
- Expansion of public-private partnerships (PPP)
- Adoption of a revised Law on Subsoil Use
…together with additional developments across key sectors.
