New reforms for multi-apartment building management

Uzbekistan has introduced new measures to improve the management and energy efficiency of multi-apartment residential buildings (Presidential Resolution No. PQ-48, dated 5 February 2026).
The reforms include energy-efficiency programs, digital management of buildings through the “Mening uyim” system, dedicated accounts for maintenance payments, and stronger oversight of managing companies.
