Shaping the Future of Alternative Investment in Uzbekistan

On 2 February 2026, our Partner and Head of Banking & Finance practice, Shukhrat Yunusov, presented the draft Law “On Alternative Investment Funds” at the Second Meeting of the Interagency Working Group on Alternative Investment Funds, organized by the Foreign Investors Council under the President of Uzbekistan and co-chaired by the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Vision Invest. The development of Law is supported by the International Finance Corporation.

The session focused on the draft Law “On Alternative Investment Funds”, gathering insights and proposals from key market participants. Kosta Legal is proud to be actively advising on the drafting of this landmark legislation.
